Back to School
As parents, we wait patiently all school year for summer to arrive because, let's face it, you're ready to pull out your hair. Tardy bells, class lessons, fundraisers and school functions are a distant memory for everyone; kids and parents alike, by the time the last bell of the year rings. Born and raised in Texas, I have always loved and admired everything about our big 'ole state, short of the politicians. But who doesn't think that, right? And even though we Texans are often perceived as cow boot wearing, shit kicking, horse riding, cattle guarding hillbillies with barely a lick of education or sophistication; I still love my state. The Baby Ban Debate
There's a nationwide boycott of babies going on. OK, maybe that sounds a little extreme but have you read the news lately? There are already airlines implementing a 'no-baby zone' in first-class and just this year a Pittsburgh area restaurant banned children under the age of 6.
